POTENTIAL CYCLE TOUR DESTINATIONS
Loch Ness 360
MILES = 80
DAYS = 4
An 80-mile 4-day trip consisting of 20 miles per day around the iconic Lochness starting and finishing at Inverness. Cycle on the Great Glen Way and Lochness Southern Trail to your next destination in the morning and explore the area in the afternoon. A guide will be with you throughout to ensure your safety and wellbeing. Moderate level of fitness required.
Learnie Red Rock
MILES = VARIES
These purpose built mountain bike trails are fantastic fun for all levels, but especially good for novice and intermediate riders.
You can mix the green, blue, and black graded trails with forest roads and an orange-graded bike park and dirt jump area to make a full day in the saddle. If you’ve time to look beyond your front wheel, you’ll enjoy some great views too.
MILES = VARIES
The Strathpeffer and Contin mountain bike trails offer something for riders of all levels. These inland trails run through dense woodland between Strathpeffer and Contin, taking in sights such as Rogie Falls.
MILES = 90 (45 DAY 1 & 45 DAY 2)
Cycle from Inverness to Invermoriston, staying overnight at a fully serviced campsite returning on the reverse route capturing pictures that you wish you had took on day one. If your feeling adventurous then why not take the high route.
Moderate fitness levels required with a few arduous climbs.
Laggan & Badaguish
MILES = VARIES
Over 20 miles of purpose-built trails wind through Laggan Forest, with superb views of the Monadhliath hills on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park.
There are routes from an easy-going green trail to a black run that’s probably the most technical bit of single-track in Scotland. In the bike park you can ride big berms and tabletop jumps.
